Two Bangladeshi PhD students killed in the United States

Two Bangladeshi PhD students died in a road accident in Wilkinson county of Georgia state of the United States. The incident took place at 8pm on Monday when a truck hit a semi-truck.


The victims were Pachcha Dutt Tumpa (25) and Imtiaz Ikram Ali (26). They were doing Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina Charlotte University.
A news release from the DPS Public Information Office said Georgia State Patrol Division was informed about two accidents at 8 pm on Monday near Wilkinson County US-411 and GA-112 connection road. After receiving the news, security forces arrived at the spot.

US local media Threatin Wmaz said in a report that the 3 passengers were going on a G12-112 road in a white car. While crossing the junction of the GA-29 road, there was a confrontation with a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The truck driver lost control of the lost passenger vehicle. The driver of the vehicle Imtiaz Ikram Ali and the backstage dentist Dutt Tumpa died on the spot.

Two people in the back seat were admitted to the Navigent Health Medical Center. After the arrest of the truck driver was taken to Fairview Park in Dublin.

Pachcha Dutt Tumpa and Imtiaz Ikram Ali studied in the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) Aeronautical Engineering Department in Dhaka. They went to the United States to pursue a PhD in August last year. Two Bangladeshi people were doing PhD in North Carolina Charlotte University.
