'Do not disassemble for security' - PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked the Special Security Force (SSF) to remain alert about the safety of the people because they do not get separated from the people. He said the people are the source of all power. Sheikh Hasina said this while addressing the 31st founding anniversary of the SSF in the Prime Minister's Office on Saturday. The Prime Minister said the SSF said, "It is not possible to serve them separately from the people and can not serve them."

As a public representative, we are responsible for the people. You have to be careful about this.

Sheikh Hasina also said that all the work of the government is for the welfare of the people. He urged the SSF to coordinate the people's will and their duties.

Sheikh Hasina said people have to maintain normal communication with VIPs. They do not have any distance with the people. Keeping the relations with the people, VIPs will have to protect the security.

Earlier, SSF Director General Major General Md. Shafiqur Rahman gave welcome speech. The Prime Minister also said that SSF members must be of good quality, honest, responsible and humanitarian.
